A rehabilitation therapist is required to join our dynamic team in providing holistic care to a diverse range of patients.
Job DescriptionThe role involves working with an interdisciplinary team to plan, discuss and treat clients. You will be conducting individual and group treatment sessions that are centre based, telehealth, in the home or in the client's local community. Your goal centred and client centred approach will ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Work with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans;
- Conduct individual and group treatment sessions tailored to meet the needs of each client;
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide a seamless service delivery;
To succeed in this role, you will require:
- Educational Qualifications: A relevant degree in exercise physiology and accreditation with the Exercise and Sports Science Australia;
- Experience: A minimum of 3 years' experience as an exercise physiologist in adult rehabilitation, including aged care, neurological, musculoskeletal and clients with chronic and complex health conditions;
- Specific Skills: Demonstrated knowledge and skills in exercise physiology rehabilitation interventions, ability to communicate effectively in written and verbal form, and comprehensive knowledge of health, disability and adjustment issues.
