Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Auto Electrician to join our team in a heavy industry transport or mining environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing our fleet of heavy duty diesel equipment, including trucks and trailers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out scheduled servicing, maintenance, and inspections of heavy duty diesel equipment
  • Maintain accurate records of servicing, maintenance, and repairs
  • Perform repairs and parts change outs as directed
  • Attend to fleet roadside breakdowns
  • Communicate effectively with drivers and plant operators
  • Order parts using approved suppliers
  • Maintain company vehicles and mechanical aids
  • Identify and record deficiencies relating to products and services
Requirements
  • Auto Electrician Trade Certification
  • EBS, MT Data & Guardian DSSI experience advantageous but not necessary
  • Experience working with heavy duty diesel equipment
  • Experience in a heavy industry transport or mining environment (highly regarded)
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screen
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with a variety of people
  • Ability to work autonomously using a proactive approach to task resolution
  • Ability to work well within a team environment
