Key Role: Wastewater Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a skilled and experienced individual to join our Wastewater Services team as a Wastewater Maintenance Technician. In this critical role, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of our wastewater reticulation systems.

  • Repair sewer blockages and maintain high pressure sewer cleaning trucks and equipment
  • Install sewer extensions or lateral connections as required
  • Inspect and record manhole asset integrity for follow up repairs

You will also be responsible for assisting with daily operations, including:

  • Responding to customer enquiries and resolving issues in a timely and efficient manner
  • Maintaining accurate records of work completed and assets maintained
  • Participating in regular meetings with the team to discuss progress and address any concerns

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Secondary education to Year 10
  • A current MR licence (HR is desirable)
  • Construction White Card
  • Basic computer skills
  • Current confined space accreditation and/or ability and willingness to gain accreditation
  • Qualifications in a trade profession or previous experience in the wastewater industry (desirable)
