Health Research Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Health Research Specialist to support the delivery of community-focused research projects.

The Role
  • Conducting clinical assessments, collecting and processing biological samples, and engaging with participants and communities to ensure research is carried out in accordance with ethical, cultural, and clinical standards.
  • Providing leadership in health education and promotion activities, contributing to research management tasks, and supporting the delivery of outreach clinics.
About You
  • A registered nurse with excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills, as well as a commitment to working respectfully and effectively in First Nations settings.
  • Clinical competence and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a dynamic research environment, including knowledge of Good Clinical Practice and upholding confidentiality.

Key Requirements:

  • Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse, with a strong focus on clinical practice and patient care.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills across diverse audiences, with an emphasis on effective collaboration and teamwork.
