About the Role

We're seeking a highly technical and hands-on Lead Data Engineer to lead data strategy sessions, design architecture and solutions, and drive the successful delivery of our engagements. As a people leader with strong credibility in the data community, you'll have a broad technical understanding of data capabilities, including data strategy, data engineering, data science, ML, and generative AI.

Key Responsibilities
  • Hands-on implementation of data solutions
  • Setting technical standards on customer engagements
  • Providing technical leadership to customers and internal teams
  • Leading the delivery of engagements and the people on those engagements
  • Building relationships with data partners
  • Working with marketing to produce external-facing collateral and content
  • Being a confident public speaker and thought leader in the space
  • Interviewing future talent into the business
Requirements
  • 6+ years of experience working in data
  • Large enterprise knowledge and experience, with multi-industry knowledge
  • High-level knowledge across data science, data engineering, strategy, ML/AI, and deep expertise in as many as possible
  • Strong technical pedigree beyond data, including platform and cloud expertise
  • Skilled at engaging with senior-level stakeholders and exerting broad influence
  • Proven experience in leading technical projects and managing project teams
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
