Job Overview

KARL STORZ SE & Co. KG is seeking a skilled Supply Chain Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient management of demonstration equipment.

Responsibilities
  • Regularly assess demonstration equipment to ensure it is complete and in good condition for re-issue.
  • Effectively manage in-out quantities to maintain up-to-date sets that meet scope requirements.
  • Coordinate stock control and ordering of demo stock to maintain optimal inventory levels and prevent stock shortages.
  • Maintain medical instrumentation and coordinate maintenance with our Service arm to repair, reorder, and reinstate damaged equipment.
  • Ensure accurate record keeping of equipment, bookings, and maintenance in line with ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 standards.
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders regarding timeframes, inventory levels, and delivery instructions, managing expectations effectively.
  • Consolidate stock into comprehensive demo sets through an end-to-end process involving ordering, consolidation, case placement, and fitting.
  • Coordinate with Customer Service and Sales regarding billing for damages and missing instrumentation to customers.
Requirements
  • Prior experience with SAP and a strong understanding of the system are highly desirable.
  • A high level of attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to manage stakeholder expectations both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to work autonomously as part of a busy team and collaborate with internal stakeholders from other departments.
  • Previous experience in the medical devices industry and handling of medical instruments is strongly preferred.
