Knox Private Hospital is a fully accredited tertiary facility with 334 beds, providing Emergency Services, Extensive Surgical Specialities, 14 bed ICU, 17 bed CCU, Medical, and a full range of Cardiac Services including two 24-hour Cardiac Catheter Laboratories.
We are the largest and most established private hospital in the eastern region of Victoria, specialising in diagnostic, elective and emergency cardiovascular care, including open heart surgery, 24/7. Our hospital utilises the latest technology and expertise, offering a Cardiology Centre, orthopaedics, neurosurgery, urology and more.
Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Environmental Service Assistant to join our team. As an Environmental Service Assistant, you will be responsible for providing a high standard of cleaning services, operating in line with infection control standards and WHS policy & procedures, and delivering excellent customer service to staff, clients and patients.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high standard of cleaning services to ensure a clean and safe environment for patients, staff and visitors.
- Operate in line with infection control standards and WHS policy & procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
- Deliver excellent customer service to staff, clients and patients, responding to their needs and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Have demonstrated ongoing commitment to professional development, staying up-to-date with the latest cleaning techniques and technologies.
- Experience in Healthcare/hotel cleaning (desirable)
- Working with Children check (if relevant)
- Commitment to service excellence.
- Proven time management skills and ability to manage priorities.
- Strong communication and customer skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Work well independently and within a team.
- Available for on call shifts.
