About the Assistant Venue Manager Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled individual to take on the role of Assistant Venue Manager. This is a hands-on position that requires strong leadership and communication skills.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing staff, including duty managers, bar staff, glassies, security, band members and DJs. They must have extensive experience in bar procedures and stock control, as well as being available to work weekends.

Our ideal candidate will possess previous management experience in a bar, restaurant or club, hold an Approved Manager qualification and have excellent communication skills. They should also be proficient in operating POS systems and Eftpos, and have experience in setting up events with food and drink service.

In this role, you will be expected to provide first-class customer service, lead by example and train staff. You will also be required to order stock and work closely with our bar manager.

A good understanding of the Liquor Licensing Act and company policies is essential. If you are a motivated individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, we encourage you to apply.
