The NT Department of Health is seeking an experienced and skilled Nurse Management Consultant to lead the Renal Unit at Tennant Creek Hospital. As a key member of the hospital's management team, you will be responsible for managing human and material resources to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the Renal Unit's operations, including staff supervision, patient care, and resource allocation.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve patient outcomes, quality of care, and staff satisfaction.
- Collaborate with the hospital's management team to achieve departmental and organizational goals.
- Ensure compliance with relevant policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Provide leadership and guidance to staff to promote a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
Requirements:
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the NT Nursing and Midwifery Board.
- Postgraduate qualification in nursing management or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a leadership or management role in a healthcare setting.
