About the Role
Salary: $84,782 pa + Incidental Allowance pa - Superannuation - Annual Leave Loading
Position Type: Ongoing Permanent – Full Time
Location: Macquarie Correctional Complex
As a key member of the NSW Department of Communities and Justice, you will be responsible for overseeing the management of offenders in a correctional setting. This role requires strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to train and supervise staff and inmates.
About You
- Proven trade experience
- Ability to work across varying trades and multitask to achieve operational goals
- Will to undertake Primary Training for Certificate III in Correctional Practice
Essential Requirements
- Current Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or related trades
- Current Food Safety Supervisor Certificate
- Current Certificate III in Correctional Practice or capacity to complete within specified timeframes
- Current NSW Driver Licence and preparedness to drive to locations as required
- General understanding of computer capabilities and electronic platforms
