The Role

We are seeking an experienced Heavy Machinery Mechanic to join our mobile maintenance team at Kwinana Workshop. As a Mobile Fleet Maintenance specialist, you will be responsible for rebuilding and maintaining our fleet of heavy machinery, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Rebuilding and refurbishing heavy machinery using advanced technology and tooling;
  • Developing and implementing effective maintenance strategies to minimize downtime and optimize performance;
  • Mentoring and guiding apprentices to develop their skills and knowledge;
  • Collaborating with other team members to ensure seamless workflow and efficient project delivery.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you must possess:

  • A strong background in heavy machinery maintenance and repair;
  • Experience working with CAT, Komatsu, and Hitachi machinery;
  • A trade certificate in boilermaking or a related field;
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills;
  • A commitment to quality and safety.
