The Role
We are seeking an experienced Heavy Machinery Mechanic to join our mobile maintenance team at Kwinana Workshop. As a Mobile Fleet Maintenance specialist, you will be responsible for rebuilding and maintaining our fleet of heavy machinery, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Rebuilding and refurbishing heavy machinery using advanced technology and tooling;
- Developing and implementing effective maintenance strategies to minimize downtime and optimize performance;
- Mentoring and guiding apprentices to develop their skills and knowledge;
- Collaborating with other team members to ensure seamless workflow and efficient project delivery.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you must possess:
- A strong background in heavy machinery maintenance and repair;
- Experience working with CAT, Komatsu, and Hitachi machinery;
- A trade certificate in boilermaking or a related field;
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills;
- A commitment to quality and safety.
