About the Job
  • Undertake complex analyses and diagnostics to identify mechanical issues in heavy vehicles and machinery.
  • Implement precision repairs and maintenance tasks on trucks, buses, and other heavy equipment, adhering to job specifications.
  • Develop strategic job plans, allocating resources effectively to ensure timely completion and maximum efficiency.
  • Manage accurate records of work performed, meeting industry standards and regulations.
  • Foster the growth and development of apprentices, promoting a culture of mentorship and support.
  • Ensure a safe working environment by enforcing rigorous safety protocols and procedures.
About You
  • Hold a trade qualification in heavy diesel/motor mechanics, with dual trade certification highly valued.
  • Demonstrate extensive industry experience, showcasing expertise in technical diagnosis and repair of various machinery and heavy vehicles.
  • Demonstrate a proven ability to identify specific parts or components, driving efficiency and effectiveness in repair operations.
