About Us

Komatsu Forklift Australia promotes and services a range of forklifts with niche products to meet customer needs.

The Opportunity:

A new role is available for an Operations Supervisor based in Laverton.

You will be responsible for managing branches, leading Service and Parts teams, and driving profitability and efficiency.

We are looking for someone with strong operational skills and experience mentoring teams, territory management, and strategic planning. Bringing in new business through solutions selling initiatives and maintaining high client and team rapport.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Lead and manage the operations of the business
  • Achieve profit and market share expectations
  • Grow external service and parts databases
  • Manage Service and Hire contracts
  • Sell and dispose of Ex-Fleet equipment to maintain hire utilisation
  • Dispose of Trade In equipment within 3 months
  • Monitor daily progress towards successful monthly outcomes

The Knowledge, Skills and Abilities We're Looking For:

  • A relevant trade background
  • Experience working in Material Handling Equipment Industry or similar industry is highly desirable
  • Highly developed sales and customer service skills
  • Ability to demonstrate product knowledge including mechanical and technical aptitude
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships and maintain proactive call plan
  • Customer centric with well-developed written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong computer literacy including Microsoft Suite Applications
  • Good analytical and conceptual skills
  • Strong HSE Understanding
