**Operations Manager - Laverton**:
**About the role**:
A rare and exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and strategic Operations Manager to come on board at our Laverton site. You will be accountable for maximising returns to the business by recommending and implementing strategies aligned to the overall organisational plan. You will contribute to the success of the business by building capability amongst your team, providing expertise and technical guidance that enable us to deliver safe, reliable and cost-effective operations.

A key focus of this role is to:

- Deliver continuous improvement in the areas of capacity, processing cost, asset utilisation and stock levels.
- Develop and coach reporting managers and supervisors to build self-sufficient leaders that will support smooth and effective site operations.

**About your experience**:
For this role, we need someone with:

- Experience in heavy industries, working at an operational, project or technical management level.
- Highly developed stakeholder management skills with proven experience delivering solutions across all levels of a business.
- A demonstrated track record of managing complex changes within large team environments.
- A diligent and highly compliant approach to WH&S.
- Proficient conflict resolution skills, ideally within a unionised environment.
- A relevant tertiary qualification would be highly regarded.

This position would be well suited to an Operations, Plant or Engineering Manager who is looking for a new challenge within a fast evolving, high energy environment.
