Job Opportunity

A Postdoctoral Fellow position is available in the field of Cliometrics and Quantitative Economic History. This is an exciting opportunity to conduct independent and/or team research, develop your research expertise, and contribute to the advancement of disciplinary knowledge.

Job Description

The Postdoctoral Fellow will engage in individual and/or collaborative research, create scholarly impact, conduct research activities under limited supervision, establish a personal research portfolio, and contribute to the development of applications for competitive funding.

This role reports to the Scientia Professor and has no direct reports. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out independent and/or team research within the field of Cliometrics and Quantitative Economic History.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Fluency in French and German
  • Significant experience in collection and digitization of original Archives
  • Proficiency in R, Python, Stata
  • A PhD in Economics
  • Proven commitment to keeping up to date with discipline knowledge and developments
  • Demonstrated track record in research with outcomes of high quality and high impact
