Postdoctoral Researcher in Cliometrics and Quantitative Economic History

Seeking a highly qualified researcher to conduct individual and/or team research in the field of Cliometrics and Quantitative Economic History.

  • Conduct scholarly impact in the discipline through recognized contributions to the advancement of knowledge.
  • Carry out research/scholarly activities under limited supervision, independently or as part of a team.
  • Establish a personal research portfolio and develop independent research proposals.
  • Collaborate with senior colleagues to develop applications for competitive funding.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Fluency in French and German
  • Experience in collection and digitization of original Archives
  • Proficiency in R, Python, Stata
  • PhD in Economics
  • Proven ability to keep up-to-date with discipline knowledge and developments
  • Demonstrated track record of high-quality research outcomes
  • Effective communication and networking skills
