Education Technology Leadership Opportunity

As a strategic leader and visionary, you will enhance Catholic education through innovative technology services. This executive role reports directly to the CEO and is central to the mission of supporting member dioceses and schools.

This unique opportunity combines passion for technology with a commitment to education, driving significant positive impact across the community. You will lead the Education Insights, Applications, and Artificial Intelligence teams, ensuring all technology initiatives are purpose-driven and directly support learning, teaching, and administrative outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide executive leadership and strategic direction for the Education Systems department.
  • Champion the use of data, applications, and AI to support the mission of Catholic education.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the department's management team to foster a high-performance culture.
  • Oversee the full lifecycle of educational technology services, from development to implementation and continuous improvement.
  • Act as a primary relationship manager for technology matters with senior stakeholders and key vendors.
  • Ensure robust governance, security, and compliance for all departmental systems and services.

You will be a collaborative leader who can represent the department's capabilities within the executive team and contribute to the overall strategic direction of the organisation. You will also be a champion of excellence, ensuring all technology initiatives deliver innovative, purpose-driven outcomes for our community.

Requirements:
  • An experienced and dynamic leader with a strong background in technology management within a complex service-oriented environment.
  • A deep understanding of the K-12 education sector, with a strong preference for experience in Catholic or faith-based education.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of building trust and influencing stakeholders at all levels, from educators to executives.
  • Proficient in project governance and vendor relationships.
  • A degree in Education, Information Technology, or a related field (with a master's degree highly regarded), or substantial equivalent experience.
