About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Chef to join our team at Millys Cafe in a full-time capacity.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and delivering exceptional customer service, with experience in a busy kitchen as a chef or short order cook.

The role involves preparing high-quality breakfasts for our hotel guests, function catering for events, and creating classic cafe dishes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and cook a variety of menu items to a high standard
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced environment, ensuring timely service
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to feedback and concerns
Requirements:
  • Experience in a busy kitchen as a chef or short order cook
  • Ability to follow directions and work independently
  • Reliability, punctuality, and professionalism
  • Availability to work early mornings, nights, and weekends
  • Good knowledge of food safety practices
