About the Role

As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will contribute to the delivery of high-quality engineering services, collaborating with clients and other stakeholders to ensure the successful execution of projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform steady state and transient flow assurance studies to evaluate the thermal and hydraulic behavior of gas condensate or oil systems, in accordance with industry best practices.
  • Model system performance for a range of transient operations, including start-up, shutdown, turndown, ramp-up, and pigging.
  • Interpret compositional analysis, conduct reservoir fluid characterizations, and generate representative fluid files for use in flow assurance software.
  • Produce visualizations, presentations, and reports capturing study outcomes for communication with clients and other disciplines.
  • Collaborate as part of a multi-disciplinary team working together to deliver integrated projects.
  • Contribute to the development of in-house automated engineering tools.
Requirements
  • University Degree in Chemical or Process Engineering, or similar.
  • 3-6 years of relevant experience in the Oil and Gas industry.
  • Proficient in flow assurance and fluid modeling software such as Ledaflow, Olga, Pipesim, Multiflash, and PVTsim.
  • Broad understanding of issues associated with single and multiphase thermohydraulics, including fluid modeling, hydrate formation, corrosion, erosion, wax formation, slugging, and sand deposition.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with multi-disciplinary teams and clients.
  • Practiced skills in problem-solving for tackling large or new problems, with high attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated experience in using programmatic approaches to data processing and model building.
  • Experience in scientific computing and data science using Python and SQL is preferred but not essential.
