Salary

The estimated salary for this position is between $90,000 to $120,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team of dedicated professionals who share our passion for empowering autistic individuals. In this role, you will work with our multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality therapeutic services in clinic, school, home, and community settings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Help participants and families identify participant needs through assessment and individual planning
  • Develop meaningful goals and practical strategies for participants using a person-centred approach
  • Deliver high-quality, evidence-based therapeutic interventions to autistic people of all ages and abilities
  • Engage in collaborative multidisciplinary teamwork to achieve outstanding results
  • Use clinical observations and standardised assessments to interpret findings and produce exceptional reports
  • Demonstrate a genuine passion for empowering and supporting autistic people to live life well

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
  • Experience delivering services under the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) is highly desirable
  • Knowledge and understanding of autism, including professional and lived experience
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • A valid driving licence and reliable vehicle for travel to community sessions
  • An NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working With Children Check
