About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Culinary Care Assistant to join our team at our Residential Aged Care facility in Manly.

Job Summary

This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who is passionate about delivering exceptional care and customer service in a fast-paced kitchen environment. As a Culinary Care Assistant, you will assist in the preparation and presentation of meals, ensuring that every resident receives a high-quality dining experience.

Key Responsibilities

Kitchen Support:

You will work closely with our culinary team to prepare and serve meals, snacks, and beverages to residents. This includes food preparation, cooking, and presentation, as well as maintaining a clean and hygienic kitchen environment.

Customer Service:

You will provide exceptional customer service to residents, their families, and guests, ensuring that their needs are met and exceeded. This includes responding to requests, resolving issues, and providing emotional support when needed.

Teamwork:

You will work collaboratively with our care staff to ensure seamless communication and coordination between departments, promoting a positive and respectful team culture.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Previous experience in a commercial kitchen environment
  • Able to follow procedures and ensure resident preferences are adhered to
  • A confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment
  • A current National Police Certificate and full COVID vaccination evidence
