Speech Pathologist Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and qualified Speech Pathologist to join our multidisciplinary team. As a Speech Pathologist, you will provide evidence-based services to people through multiple service delivery models, including telehealth, community visits, and centre-based services.

  • Assessing and providing interventions for children & adults living with a range of disabilities is an essential responsibility of the role.
  • Working within the NDIS framework requires strong communication skills to maximise clients' level of function, capacity & social engagement.
  • Providing assistive technology assessment, recommendations, and applications is crucial in relevant fields.
  • Timely documentation & report writing ensures seamless workflow.
  • Managing a varied caseload is an important aspect of this role.
  • Meeting professional expectations, such as meeting billables & effective client management, is key to success.
  • Building relationships with key stakeholders, including therapists, clients, & referral sources, enhances overall performance.
New Graduate Support

A tailored New Graduate Program has been developed to support recent graduates in acquiring the skills needed to launch them into a successful career. The program includes:

  • Weekly 1:1 supervision sessions for guidance and feedback.
  • Core competency skills training sessions to enhance knowledge and skills.

  • Internal PD sessions to ensure continued professional development.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must possess:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in a related field.
  • Discipline-specific professional registration, such as AHPRA or SPA.
  • A Working with Children Check (WWCC) or Blue Card.
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check.
  • A Police Check and International Police Check if applicable.
  • A drivers licence and access to a reliable vehicle.
  • Car insurance.
  • Professional Indemnity & Public Liability insurance.
