
Experienced Speech Therapist Wanted

We are seeking a highly motivated and qualified Speech Pathologist to join our multidisciplinary team. As a Speech Pathologist, you will provide evidence-based services to people through multiple service delivery models, including telehealth, community visits, and centre-based services.
- Assessing and providing interventions for children & adults living with a range of disabilities is an essential responsibility of the role.
- Working within the NDIS framework requires strong communication skills to maximise clients' level of function, capacity & social engagement.
- Providing assistive technology assessment, recommendations, and applications is crucial in relevant fields.
- Timely documentation & report writing ensures seamless workflow.
- Managing a varied caseload is an important aspect of this role.
- Meeting professional expectations, such as meeting billables & effective client management, is key to success.
- Building relationships with key stakeholders, including therapists, clients, & referral sources, enhances overall performance.
A tailored New Graduate Program has been developed to support recent graduates in acquiring the skills needed to launch them into a successful career. The program includes:
- Weekly 1:1 supervision sessions for guidance and feedback.
- Core competency skills training sessions to enhance knowledge and skills.
- Fortnightly group mentoring sessions to foster collaboration and networking opportunities.
- Mental health drop-in sessions to promote well-being and self-care.
- Internal PD sessions to ensure continued professional development.
- Shadowing opportunities with experienced clinicians to gain practical experience.
To be successful in this role, you must possess:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in a related field.
- Discipline-specific professional registration, such as AHPRA or SPA.
- A Working with Children Check (WWCC) or Blue Card.
- NDIS Worker Screening Check.
- A Police Check and International Police Check if applicable.
- A drivers licence and access to a reliable vehicle.
- Car insurance.
- Professional Indemnity & Public Liability insurance.
