Key Responsibilities:- Undertake service, repairs, and modifications on heavy municipal vehicles, including breakdowns and diagnostics.
- Utilize hydraulics, electrical, and pneumatics expertise to diagnose and resolve issues.
- Perform oxy and plasma cutting, welding (Mig, Tig, and Stick), and other tasks as required.
- Ensure a safety-focused mindset and ability to work unsupervised.
- Relevant trade qualification (Automotive Mechanical, Electrical, Mechanical Fitting, etc.)
- Preferred experience working on heavy municipal vehicles.
- Hydraulics, electrical, and pneumatics experience.
- HR Licence and FL Licence (desirable)
- Welding skills and basic tools required.
- Auto Electrical Trade Certificate
- Wiring and hand soldering experience
- Sound diagnostic skills in the electrical field
- Familiar with reading technical diagrams
- A current driver's licence and forklift licence (desirable)
- $40.00 to $45.00 p/h Ordinary Rate (based on experience)
- Overtime when available
- Training provided
