Job Title: Senior Business Correspondent

This is a prominent specialist reporter role requiring staying up-to-date with breaking news in business, economics and finance.

The ideal candidate will deliver clear reports and brief other reporters and producers about the key events of the day.

The successful candidate will advise and mentor staff around economic, financial market and business concepts and ideas.

About You:

You will have outstanding experience in business, economics and finance reporting and/or presenting.

Knowledge and understanding of current and historical issues in business, economics and finance are crucial.

Ability to explain complex economic, financial and business concepts in an engaging way is critical.

High-level editorial judgement and the ability to work independently without supervision are required.

Strong broadcast presentation skills for audio and television are necessary, as well as a willingness to build relevant broadcast, presentation and content creation skills.

Sophisticated communication and interpersonal skills are necessary to engage with colleagues, talent and audiences.
