As a Regional Distribution Centre Manager, you will be responsible for championing operational excellence and sustainable practices, setting new standards in warehouse management.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement strategies to optimize workflows and improve efficiency
- Lead a team of 50+ people to achieve warehouse goals and uphold world-class health and safety standards
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure seamless operations and implement automation solutions
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to drive continuous improvement
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and partners to ensure smooth logistics operations
- Tertiary qualification in Supply Chain, Business Management, Lean manufacturing, or 6 Sigma
- Proven experience in implementing and optimizing automation solutions in warehousing environments
- Leadership capability to lead a highly productive team for results excellence
- Previous experience in DC parts operation or a warehouse environment in the construction or mining equipment industry
- Understanding of Warehouse Management Systems and Inventory Management principles
