About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Casual Pool at Nepean Hospital. As a Registered Nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to achieve excellent health outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide person-centered, family-inclusive, and culturally sensitive care to patients accessing health services.
  • Organize and prioritize work effectively, demonstrating a commitment to professional development and teamwork.
  • Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Work a flexible roster, including day, evening, and night shifts, across all days of the week.

Requirements:

  • Current registration to practice as a Registered Nurse (Division 1) with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Authority (AHPRA).
  • Demonstrated experience and clinical skill as a Registered Nurse, including completion of a new graduate year or equivalent experience working as a Registered Nurse.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a multi-disciplinary team and provide exceptional person-centered care.
