Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Community Support Worker to join our team.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with individuals who require support with daily living activities, such as eating, dressing, bathing, and grooming.

You will provide transportation assistance to clients, respite care to clients and their families, and maintain accurate records of clients' care plans and progress.

Effective communication skills and the ability to work with diverse client needs are essential for this role.

  • A minimum of high school or equivalent qualification.
  • Certificate 3 or 4 in individual support or willingness to complete within a specified timeframe.
  • Lived experience or paid experience working with people with disabilities.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong understanding of the NDIS and its guidelines.
  • Basic care and first aid skills.
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • The ability to communicate effectively with clients, their families, and other members of the care team.
