Job Title

Senior Clinical Psychologist – Grade 3 – Kids Rehab

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Clinical Psychologist with extensive experience in disabilities and rehabilitation to join our multidisciplinary team. The successful candidate will contribute to integrated care plans that deliver high-quality, evidence-based clinical care responsive to the needs of young patients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and develop tailored intervention programs for children and adolescents with acquired or congenital neurodevelopmental disorders or neurological injuries.
  • Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to support children and families through rehabilitation, addressing disability, trauma, and quality of life challenges.
  • Engage in service development, program planning, and creation of innovative treatment modules for patients with complex neurodisabilities and rehabilitation needs.
  • Provide mentorship, supervision, and training to junior staff and contribute to professional development within the department and broader clinical community.
Qualifications and Experience
  • A Master or Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology and eligibility for full registration and endorsement in Clinical Psychology with the relevant governing body.
  • Eligibility for endorsement and registration with the relevant governing body; Board-approved supervisor status is highly regarded.
  • Experience in rehabilitation and disability psychology with ability to lead and develop clinical programs and initiatives.
About Our Team

Our multidisciplinary team focuses on helping individuals adjust to disabilities and trauma, improve functional outcomes, and participate in daily activities and education. We work with families to navigate developmental stages and changing needs, with a focus on quality of life.

This is a fixed term part-time appointment at 38 hours per fortnight (0.5 FTE) with the possibility of extension and/or permanency.
