Residential Care Leadership Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic leader to join our organisation and provide leadership and support to a team of professionals.

The successful candidate will be responsible for mentoring their team members and working together to achieve shared goals in the area of residential care.

Key aspects of this role include:

  • Actioning referrals for young people to be placed within relevant programs, while formulating transition plans and inductions for new residents
  • Overseeing the facilitation of individualised care plans for all children and young people, which reflects their case plans and care requirements
  • Managing all aspects of the workforce within your area of responsibility
  • Ensuring associated legislative and external reporting requirements are met

To be suitable for this position, you will possess:

  • A Degree qualification in Social/Behavioural Sciences or related discipline
  • An applied knowledge and understanding of child protection and out-of-home care Frameworks
  • Solid experience in leading a multidisciplinary team in a child protection context
  • Experience working with children who live with trauma or disability will be highly regarded
