Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Field Service Technician to join our team. As a key member of our field service team, you will be responsible for providing expert diagnostic, repair, and maintenance services to our customers across various projects.

You will work closely with our customers to understand their needs, identify solutions, and deliver high-quality results. Your expertise in troubleshooting complex issues and ensuring equipment is running efficiently will be invaluable in helping us achieve our goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and maintain Hitachi machinery to ensure optimal performance and efficiency
  • Respond to breakdowns and conduct diagnostics to quickly resolve issues
  • Join the build team to commission new equipment and ensure seamless integration into customer operations
  • Complete and submit required documentation to meet regulatory and internal requirements
  • Maintain strong relationships with customers, peers, and departments to foster a collaborative and supportive environment
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Certificate III in Mobile Plant Mechanics or equivalent
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in diesel mechanics, with a focus on OEM equipment and excavator diagnostics
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively and outside the box
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers and colleagues
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a focus on collaboration and mutual support
