We're seeking an experienced and skilled Physiotherapist to join our multidisciplinary team.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with older adults in Residential Aged Care Facilities, delivering personalised and evidence-based care that promotes mobility, transfers, and daily living.
This role involves conducting comprehensive assessments, providing clinical recommendations, and developing individualised therapy programs. The Physiotherapist will also lead group-based active ageing sessions and work closely with facility staff to review care plans and adjust therapy as residents' needs evolve.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify residents' physical needs and develop individualised therapy programs.
- Provide therapy that promotes falls prevention, pain management, arthritic care, and skin integrity.
- Lead group-based active ageing sessions to promote social interaction and community engagement.
- Work closely with facility staff to review care plans and adjust therapy as residents' needs change.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- A bachelor's degree in physiotherapy or a related field.
- Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Australian working rights.
- Ability to obtain NDIS worker screening and National Police Check.
