Job Overview

  • Work in alignment with the RMIT Mental Wellbeing Strategic Action Plan and relevant regulatory obligations.

About the Role

This Senior Wellbeing and Psychosocial Safety Partner plays a strategic role in embedding psychosocial safety and mental wellbeing across the organisation.

Responsibilities include designing and facilitating training, interpreting wellbeing data, and supporting continuous improvement through consultation, reporting and capacity building.

Requires a confident professional who can translate evidence-based strategies into practice, provide credible leadership on psychosocial safety, and drive cultural change.

Contributes to designing preventative strategies, policies, and systems that promote mental wellbeing and mitigate workplace harm.

To be successful, you'll have:

  • Proven knowledge in mental health, psychosocial risk management, suicide prevention and postvention.
  • Experience in Mental Health providing support to staff in high-risk roles.
  • Highly developed interpersonal, clinical, problem solving and negotiation skills.
  • Relationship building and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong written communication skills including producing guidance materials.
  • A high level of initiative, discretion, collaboration, independence and flexibility.
  • Commitment to continuous improvement and adapting frameworks to real life scenarios.
  • Skills in using information and communication technologies.
