Key Manufacturing Leadership Position
The successful candidate will be a seasoned leader in manufacturing engineering with expertise in leading cross-functional teams to develop and implement manufacturing processes for the production of high-complexity medical devices.
This critical role requires strong technical knowledge, leadership skills, and ability to drive business outcomes. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in process development, scale-up, and lean manufacturing principles.
Responsibilities:
- Lead process development and manufacturing engineering to complete design transfer from R&D to manufacturing.
- Ensure compliance with relevant standards and best practices in all aspects of manufacturing, including GMP, QSR, and ISO 13485.
- Manage and mentor a team of manufacturing engineers.
- Develop and implement manufacturing improvements to increase product yield and decrease the cost of goods supplied (COGS).
Requirements:
- BS or MS degree in Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in manufacturing engineering, preferably in a medical device industry.
- Proven track record of success in process development, scale-up, and lean manufacturing principles.
