Reporting to our Design Manager, you will play a pivotal role in creating detailed technical drawings and documentation, with a focus on the design of buoyancy mould tooling for a variety of projects within the resources, civil, and defence sectors.At Matrix, Solidworks is our primary design platform, and proficiency in this software is essential for success in this role.
We're looking for someone with hands-on experience and confidence in using a wide range of Solidworks features.
Specifically, you will have proven experience with:Working with configurations to manage design variationsUsing the equation editorCreating and managing assemblies, parts, and detailed drawingsPerforming FEA (Finite Element Analysis) on both parts and assemblies to validate designs.This is an exciting opportunity for an engineer to thrive in a highly skilled environment, gaining exposure to cutting-edge projects in the subsea and resources industries.
