Role Overview

Credit Team Leadership

This role is situated within the Credit Control team, an integral part of the national Finance function. The successful candidate will be pivotal in managing all facets of the credit function and supporting the refinement of credit policies and procedures, along with ledger management.

  • Leading a team of Credit Controllers, providing strong leadership, coaching and mentoring.
  • Reviewing processes and policies to implement improvements.
  • Collaborating with the Business Performance Manager to enforce National Credit Policy and ensure compliance.
  • Oversight of outstanding debtors and continuous improvement of debtor collection processes.
  • Proactive engagement with partners and managers to achieve monthly collection targets.
  • Preparing timely and accurate reports for efficient debtor ledger management.
  • Effective management of client disputes and repayment plans.
  • Implementation of credit control policies.
Requirements
  • Prior exposure to professional services, similar position.
  • Intrinsic motivation, results-driven mindset, adept at building relationships across levels.
  • Knowledge of relevant financial regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Effective time management, organisational skills, ability to work autonomously or collaboratively.
  • A relevant diploma or equivalent experience.
