Job Summary

This role involves coordinating referrals, testing and appointments for patients undergoing advanced laparoscopic and bariatric procedures.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate referrals across providers and departments.
  • Support communication with patients, peers and providers regarding referral status and processes.
Key Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary coursework in healthcare is preferred.
  • At least 1 year of experience in a medical office setting involving insurance, registration or billing.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and email.
Bonus Skills:
  • Effective communication with patients, providers and insurance vendors.
  • Problem-solving skills and ability to interpret instructions.
