The Role:

We are seeking a skilled Body Repairer/Panel Beater to join our team at the Dandenong Workshop. As a key member of our workshop team, you will be responsible for undertaking day-to-day heavy vehicle repairs to ensure our buses are safe, roadworthy, and well-presented.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct repairs of various vehicles and ensure they are maintained in a safe and workable condition in a cost-effective manner.
  • Assess and plan jobs to ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Conduct fibreglass repairs and manufacturer replacement bus panels and body structural components.
  • Apply body decals and complete work orders, including written vehicle reports.

Requirements:

  • Cert III Body Building or Panel Beater qualification.
  • Experience in smash repairing, body building, and panel beating, with heavy vehicle experience highly regarded.
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills.
  • Current Driver's Licence (MR or higher licence desirable).
  • Ability to work as part of a team and excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
