About the Role

Lifestyle Solutions is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Therapeutic Live-in Carer to join our team. As a Therapeutic Live-in Carer, you will play a pivotal role in creating a positive impact on the lives of children and young people in our care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children and young people to develop to their full potential
  • Support the goals established in the child or young person's Individual Care Plan
  • Monitor and report health issues for each child or young person and respond to their individual health needs
  • Provide age-appropriate care to a child or young person
  • Assist a young person to connect to their culture or religion
  • Work collaboratively with the child or young person's school to identify barriers to positive engagement in education

Requirements
  • Experience working with young people, particularly in therapeutic environments
  • Located within the Broome area
  • A positive, resilient attitude and a commitment to making a difference
  • A relevant diploma qualification or equivalent experience
  • A valid driver's license and willingness to work a week-on, week-off roster, including sleepover shifts
