Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to join our team in Melbourne. This role is part of our Cyber Uplift Program, focused on strengthening security posture, driving compliance, and embedding cyber resilience across the organisation.

The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between technical and business stakeholders, ensuring that requirements are well defined, risks are clearly understood, and solutions are effectively delivered.

This is an initial 12 month FTC.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead business analysis activities across multiple cyber uplift initiatives
  • Collaborate with cyber, risk, and technology teams to gather, document, and validate business and technical requirements
  • Support initiatives aligned to ISO 27001, Identity & Access Management (IDA), Authentication controls, and Network Segmentation
  • Partner with stakeholders to translate complex technical concepts into clear business outcomes
  • Facilitate workshops, process mapping, and gap analysis to support solution design
  • Work closely with project managers, architects, and security SMEs to ensure initiatives meet both compliance and business needs
  • Contribute to change management and adoption activities to embed cyber uplift initiatives
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a Senior Business Analyst, ideally within cyber security, IT risk, or related programs
  • Strong knowledge and practical experience with: ISO 27001 frameworks, Identity & Access Management (IDA)
  • Demonstrated ability to work with both technical SMEs and business stakeholders
  • Excellent documentation, requirements gathering, and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset
  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced, program-driven environment
