The University of Queensland's School of Economics is seeking a Casual Academic to deliver tutorials and associated preparation, student consultation, and marking in various economics courses.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver tutorials and presentations in economics courses
- Prepare and mark assessment tasks as directed by course coordinators
- Provide support to students, including consultation and assessment feedback
- Maintain high-quality tutorials and participate in evaluation instruments
- Attend meetings, induction sessions, and required training sessions
All Casual Academics are required to comply with relevant legislation and University policies, including occupational health and safety, sustainable practices, and education services for overseas students.

Requirements and Eligibility- Candidates must have completed at least 10 units of UQ ECON-coded courses by July 2024 and achieved a GPA of 6.0 or better in economics courses
- UQ PhD candidates are encouraged to apply
This is a Casual position with a casual hourly rate of $53.21 per hour, plus super.
