About the Role

We are seeking a Casual Academic to join our team at The University of Queensland's School of Economics.

The successful appointee will be responsible for delivering tutorials, providing student consultation and marking in various economics courses.

As a Casual Academic, you will be remunerated according to the category of your duties, as detailed in the Enterprise Agreement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver tutorials and provide non-contact duties, including preparation and marking.
  • Provide student consultation and support.
  • Maintain the quality of tutorials and participate in evaluation instruments.
  • Attend meetings and training sessions as required.
Requirements
  • Enrolled in a relevant degree program or have completed a relevant degree.
  • Completed at least 10 units of UQ ECON-coded courses by July 2024 and achieved a GPA of 6.0 or better in economics courses.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
What We Offer

This is a Casual position with a casual hourly rate of $53.21 per hour, plus super.
