**Emergency Medicine Opportunity**

We are seeking a skilled Emergency Medicine Specialist to join our high-performing Department within a major regional health service.

This role offers the opportunity to deliver high-quality, evidence-based emergency care across a wide range of clinical presentations, including trauma, complex medical and surgical cases, paediatrics, and acute mental health.

As a key regional referral centre, we are supported by a multidisciplinary team of Emergency Physicians, Registrars, junior doctors, and nursing staff, with strong links to pre-hospital and specialist services.

Accredited by the Australasian College for Emergency Medicine (ACEM), our department fosters a strong culture of education, mentorship, and professional development.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Deliver high-quality, evidence-based emergency care across the full clinical spectrum
  • Manage patients independently, supervise junior staff, and contribute to education, clinical governance, and service improvement
  • Participate in initiatives such as trauma system development, simulation training, digital health innovation, and rural outreach

**Requirements:**

  • Fellowship with ACEM (FACEM) and AHPRA Specialist Registration SIMGs assessed by ACEM as Substantially Comparable / ACEM interview date confirmed ACEM Advanced Trainees within six months of completing Fellowship
  • Strong clinical capability in emergency medicine, including trauma and procedural skills, critical care decision-making, and a commitment to education, teamwork, and continuous improvement
