Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Claims Services Officer to join our team in Sydney. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a dynamic and busy environment and would like to enhance their career with a well-respected company.

In this role, you will provide administrative support to our NSW Workers Compensation claim teams. Your duties will include lodging new personal injury claims, gathering information, preparing correspondence, managing claim data, coordinating travel arrangements, and handling complex escalations.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Lodge new personal injury claims and validate details for accuracy.
  2. Gather, investigate, and follow up on additional information to complete lodgements.
  3. Prepare, proof, and send outbound correspondence.
  4. Manage incoming and outgoing claim information, including digital indexing, scanning, and archiving.
  5. Coordinate travel and accommodation for injured workers where required.
  6. Handle complex escalations from business partners.
  7. Review and release claim documentation in line with privacy regulations.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong eye for detail and accuracy in processing and record-keeping.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Organisation and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines.
  • Problem-solving ability, thinking critically to find solutions.
  • Adaptability and resilience in a fast-paced and changing environment.
  • Experience in administration, business operations, or insurance is highly regarded.
  • Knowledge of web-based administration systems is a plus.
