Avian Care Professional Opportunity
\This role is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and collaborative environment, supporting the management of our layer hen operations. As an Avian Care Professional, you will play a key role in ensuring the optimal conditions for our hens to thrive, while upholding strict animal welfare protocols.
\- Conduct regular feed, water and light checks, including general maintenance to equipment as required;
- Carry out environmental checks to ensure birds are comfortable and content;
- Perform inspections on bird welfare, egg systems and egg belts to ensure ease of flow;
- Contribute to the overall cleanliness and maintenance of sheds and equipment.
Requirements
\We are seeking an individual with a willingness to adhere to strict animal welfare guidelines and regulations. Previous experience in the poultry industry is not essential, but would be highly regarded. A current valid drivers' licence is also required.
