About Our Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Director Network Performance to lead our network performance team.

This role is responsible for driving enterprise-wide strategy, governance and performance accountability across the organisation.

The successful candidate will have experience in rail operations, managing complex data sets and leading investigations into operational issues.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a single source of data and actionable recommendations that inform strategic decision making and drive continuous improvement in network performance.
  • Be accountable for the integrity and transparency of network performance reporting.
  • Lead investigations into operational issues and incidents, perform root cause analysis and identify systemic issues; develop recommendations to improve network performance.
  • Lead and govern the enterprise-wide performance framework for the organisation, aligning with strategic objectives and regulatory obligations.
  • Develop and deliver data-driven actionable insights to operational branches to improve network performance.
About You / Qualifications
  • Demonstrated experience in rail operations with knowledge of investigation and reporting on engineering, operational, emergency and safety incidents.
  • Deep experience managing complex data sets, including data optimisation and governance.
  • Experience overseeing investigations and performance issues in a complex operating environment.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with experience leading a function within a high-reliability / high-risk environment.
  • Proven ability to operate in a matrix reporting environment with a customer-oriented mindset and understanding of service delivery demands.
  • Adaptive, with the ability to motivate teams towards business objectives and drive transformation.
