Quality Assurance Scientist

We're seeking a Quality Assurance Scientist to join our laboratory team.

This role will involve combining analytical skills with quality expertise to ensure products meet or exceed industry standards. You'll work closely with a collaborative team in a fast-paced lab environment, driving continuous improvement and supporting research initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reporting regularly on laboratory performance and implementing process improvements
  • Managing testing schedules and prioritizing tasks to align with product specifications and production timelines
  • Providing scientific support to quality and R&D projects
  • Conducting routine quality control testing with precision and accuracy
  • Investigating non-conforming results using root cause analysis techniques

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualification in chemistry or a related science discipline
  • Experience in the pharmaceutical or nutraceutical industry
  • Strong background in analytical instrumentation and troubleshooting
  • Knowledge of GLP principles and quality management systems
  • Excellent time management and communication skills
