As a Field Service Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our clients' equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Support: Provide expert technical advice and support to field sites to resolve any issues or concerns.
  • Work Package Management: Prepare and maintain work packages, technical procedures, control sheets, methods, and documentation for installation teams.
  • Risk Management: Anticipate potential risks and opportunities and raise them to the Project Team for review and mitigation.
  • Schedule Coordination: Maintain the Field Service schedule and coordinate dates with the Project Team and customer to ensure seamless delivery.
  • Installation Preparation: Prepare specifications, technical procedures, and work descriptions for installation subcontractors.
  • Bid Evaluation: Evaluate installation bids/offers to ensure they meet our quality and safety standards.
  • Customer Facilitation: Facilitate clarifications with customers to ensure their needs are met.
  • Design Review Participation: Participate in design review meetings to ensure field-related design considerations are incorporated.
  • Field-Related Design Considerations: Ensure that all field-related design considerations are taken into account.
  • HSE and Quality Assurance: Ensure the availability of HSE, quality plans, and documents.
  • Procedure Development: Develop project-specific procedures and safety assessments.

Your profile:

  • Education: University diploma in Engineering or equivalent industry experience.
  • Tech Experience: Experience and technical understanding of turbines, generators, and balance of plant equipment.
  • Project Management: Project management, sub-supplier handling, and scheduling experience.
  • Communication Skills: Capable of reading and interpreting blueprints, specifications, schedules, and budgets. Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Computer Literacy: Full computer literacy with MS Office, SAP, and Primavera P6 knowledge.
  • Desirable Skills: Desirable: competencies in AutoCAD, Solid Edge software.
