Domestic Services Assistant Role
We are seeking an experienced and proactive professional to join our Domestic Services team on a part-time basis. As a Domestic Services Assistant, you will work across cleaning and laundry teams.
Your responsibilities and duties include:
- Cleaning resident rooms, common areas, office spaces, and staff room as scheduled
- Replenishing and maintaining stock levels
- Cleaning and laundry duties as per schedule
- Ensuring provision of clean laundry throughout the home at all times
- Assisting the Food Services team with delivery and serving of food and drinks as scheduled
Key Requirements
- Previous experience in a cleaning/laundry role, preferably in Aged Care/Health Care
- Excellent time management and organisation skills
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
- A non-judgmental approach to working with people
- Qualifications and experience in food handling, infection control, manual handling, and the use of cleaning chemicals (highly advantageous)
- Food Safety Certificate and Food Handlers Certificate (highly advantageous)
- Physically able to perform manual tasks including (but not limited to) bending and lifting
