About the Job
This is a senior-level position that requires at least 6 years of experience in origination and execution of Investment Banking (M&A) deals in consumer, retail, healthcare, or general industrials sectors. Your Key Responsibilities
You will be responsible for:
- Origination and execution of M&A mandates with a focus on consumer, retail, healthcare, and general industrials sectors;
- Deal team lead responsible for driving day-to-day M&A transaction execution processes including in-depth financial analysis, valuation, due diligence, and industry analysis;
- Primary client point of contact on deals, responsible for overseeing M&A transaction documentation and internal approvals;
- Lead the development of high-quality marketing presentations and industry analysis for maximum client impact;
- Reviewing and coordinating analysis and work of junior bankers;
- Strong understanding of client needs and market dynamics, supporting generation of new opportunities;
- Participation in marketing meetings including client presentations and pitches;
- Support senior banker account coverage with a significant opportunity to develop primary coverage responsibilities;
- Train and mentor juniors (graduates, analysts, and associates) to support the development of best-in-class investment banking skill sets;
- Collaborate with colleagues across the business, including other IB sector teams, global colleagues, corporate bank, and DCM to drive delivery of Deutsche Bank's broad global platform.
Your Salary
The estimated salary for this position is $150,000 - $200,000 per annum, depending on your experience and qualifications. You will also receive a range of benefits, including competitive superannuation, four weeks annual leave, one week wellbeing leave, and the option to purchase additional leave.
