About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Information Technology Operations Manager to lead our team in delivering high-quality IT services. This is a permanent, full-time opportunity with a salary of $110,000 per annum.

Key Responsibilities
  • To lead and manage a team of technical staff in the ongoing management of infrastructure technologies (server administration, cloud transition, and more).
  • Support the team with day-to-day management, covering system and network operations and availability, maintenance, configuration security, and user support.
  • To work with the team to implement best practice, optimise team efficiencies, and provide technical guidance to stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related discipline.
  • At least 5 years of experience in IT infrastructure, operations, service, project management, and familiarity with data centres, multiple cloud providers (Azure, AWS, VMWare, Hyper-V), and SaaS integrations.
  • Comprehensive experience in operations and management of infrastructure services (on-premise and cloud), end-user compute services, security operations, service management processes, datacentre, telecommunications, mobility services, and server administration (Windows - Windows Server 2012 R2-2019).
  • Knowledge and experience in working with IT security policies and procedures aligned with regulatory standards and frameworks like ISO 27001, Essential 8, NIST, or equivalent.
  • Knowledge and experience in Network Security (Firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, Anti-Malware), Active Directory, Access Control, O365 & Azure, vulnerability scanning, and patching.
  • Demonstrated leadership in managing technical teams in fast-paced environments.
